Hajime Sorayama’s work began back in the 1970′s, drawing a series of robotic female figures now termed gynoids. A combination of the word droid which in greek means “in the image of” and gyn, greek for “woman”. The driving inspiration of all of this is Sorayma’s fascination with how light intercts and reflects off of metallic surfaces, and of course… women. Either way, nice work
