One thing that I feel doesn’t get utilized in men’s fashion enough, is the use of buckle straps on shoes. I’ve seen it on some dressier shoes such as Cole Haan, and then recently I saw a buckle on a Quoddy model of shoe, but this time around Opening Ceremony takes their stab at the buckle integration. Consisting of crepe soles, a Clarks Wallabee-esque look, and woven detail on the shoe, take sides on whether you like Opening Ceremony’s foray into the “buckle on shoes” competition.
