Converse x XLarge x X-Girl

The Jack Purcells pictured above are a collaboration between Converse, X-Girl, and XLarge.  Instead of taking the classic All Star shoe, the two brands chose to take a stab at designing an awesome colorway for the Purcell.  What really got me about this collaboration is the simplicity.  So much of the time, collaborations are meant to revive something that is either dying or shouldn’t be put out in the first place, but with this, it’s not screaming and yelling wanting to get your attention, but simply has subtle elements that make the shoe eye-catching and rewarding.  Also, as noted in the picture, these are set for a July 2010 release date.
